While the administrators and moderators of this forum will attempt to remove or edit any generally objectionable material as quickly as possible, it is impossible to review every message. Therefore you acknowledge that all posts made to these forums express the views and opinions of the author and not the administrators, moderators or webmaster (except for posts by these people) and hence will not be held liable.
You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-oriented or any other material that may violate any applicable laws. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned (and your service provider being informed). The IP address of all posts is recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. You agree that the webmaster, administrator and moderators of this forum have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should they see fit. As a user you agree to any information you have entered above being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent the webmaster, administrator and moderators cannot be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised. You agree you will not post material that is illegally invasive of another person's right to privacy.
You cannot use the NMG site's email, signatures, PMs or the posting of links to spam our users of your products, services or to promote other websites. Affiliate links are not allowed. Any instance will result in an immediate ban, no questions asked.
All new accounts at NMG are placed under a loose probationary period that lasts your first five postings. During that time, your forum posts will be reviewed by our moderators and site editors to ensure that you have a good understanding of the website and its community-oriented atmosphere. The NMG website is a great, family-friendly place to hang out, exchange general and geocaching related discussion and ideas, and we would like to keep it that way.
The Northern Michigan Geocachers website is specifically for pro-active and pro-participative Michigan geocachers who enjoy and regularly geocache in Northern Michigan and would like to be an active part of our online community. For an account to remain active you must log in at least once every 21 days and your initial login must be within 1 week from account activation. If you have a special circumstance that prohibits you from logging in as required and want to be considered for non deletion of your account please let admin know via PM or email.
This forum system uses cookies to store information on your local computer. These cookies do not contain any of the information you have entered above; they serve only to improve your viewing pleasure. The e-mail address is used only for confirming your registration details and password (and for sending new passwords should you forget your current one).
